The Art Institutues has a career opportunity for a Director, Marketing…..a creative thinker who is always looking to improve existing marketing strategies and incorporate new opportunities to lead and oversee all marketing/advertising planning, with activities from branding, advertising, social and digital storytelling, public relations, communications, and more. Formulate marketing and advertising strategies/plans, execution of plans, budget management, resource management, organization and tracking of advertising/inquiry generating activities for respective education system. Track marketing and project activity, project budgeting; initiate and maintain consistent internal communications and working closely with appropriate internal departments (Creative, Media, Social Media, etc.) to ensure clear direction of marketing efforts for any and all education systems.
The professional we seek will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 8-10 years strategic consumer marketing experience, with strong marketing skills, including strategic direction setting, campaign conceptualization and communication strategy development; and, direct-to-consumer marketing is essential.
Qualified candidates will have strong brand and multi-channel marketing experience with proven ability to deliver, create and execute successful marketing strategies along with strong budget management skills and a proven leader in building and managing teams.
